The cat box I had custom made from Modernist Cat was featured on ModernCat.net.  It was constructed quickly and arrived professionally packed and without damage.  The wheels lock in place.  I just love it!

Saw this sweet organic looking hand carved pig sculpture at McGuire's while I was
in Manhattan last week.  I will be looking for a knock-off
since the listed price is unfortunately out of my range at $2300.

Freaked out on Felting

I was browsing this fun on-line store called Reform School Rules and came across Tanya Aguiniga's amazing felted DCM Eames Chair as well as these colorful hand felted folding chairs.  I confess I was obsessed.  I spent some time researching, trying to find information, instructions, some clue as to how she crafted this.  No luck... but it did pique my interest so much that I purchased a wet felting kit and felted some rocks I found in the run off ditch outside.  Still want to know how she did that.. maybe I'll start with some smaller angular object and see what I can come up with.  Here are my rocks, some solid wool, some with the rock inside.  I also made several solid wool balls.  It is addicting!  Try it yourself here or here.

Petit 2 oz Travel Candle from Nouvelle

My favorite candle.  A tiny 2 oz Nouvelle in a cute silver tin.  This size is a little hard to come by but I did find them in several fragrances at Amazon.com and Paris Lamps.
